Redbridge Lakes is more than just fishing

Sustainability

Throughout the construction of the lakes and the development of the surrounding natural area, our key goal has been to ensure that whatever we do, we do with the preservation & enhancement of the environment as our main concern.

We seek to inspire the community through witnessing and participating in the environmental changes we are implementing and as part of this we ensured free access to a major proportion of the site and have installed information boards around the site. We encourage local school groups, Scouts & Guides, and Nature study groups to visit and spot birds & other wildlife.

We seek to continuously improve the sustainability & biodiversity of our site for the benefit of the wider community. We use Solar and Ground source energy to help power and heat our café and 80% of our waste is recycled.
